Owners of the Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC and new SS/TC can now enjoy shorter, much more precise shifting thanks to TWM's newest short shifter.
Shift throw between gears on our new Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC short shifter is reduced by 33% and shift knob height is reduced by 1" for a vastly improved look and feel.
TWM's Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC short shifter also retains the reverse lockout feature and is available with optional aluminum shifter base bushings for a more solid and direct shift feel.
These aluminum base bushings retail for $24.95, however they can be added for only $19.95 when ordered with the short shifter below!
The short shifter also comes standard with an aluminum shift knob specifically designed to accomodate the reverse lockout, and the shift knob
can be upgraded to one of our weighted stainless steel shift knobs for an even smoother shift feel.
The TWM short shifter also resolves common issues with currently available short shifters on the market such as rough reverse lockout movement.
TWM uses delrin bushings and o-rings for super smooth reverse lock action to correct this. We have also addressed the complaint that other short shifters
do not lower shift knob height enough. Our short shifter reduces shift knob height by 1" inch and throw by 33% due to a re-positioned pivot point, the largest reduction possible while still retaining the reverse lock.
