These premium Ford Short Shifters are CNC machined to aircraft industry tolerances for a direct bolt on installation and the ultimate in functionality. Our 6061-T6 steel Escort short shifters feature industrial grade ball bearings at the pivot point, as well as our unique inner bearing brace bushing which guards against bearing damage due to over-tightening.
Ford short shifters for the Escort and ZX/2 include CNC machined billet steel heat sheild spacers. In addition to a 55% reduction in throw, knob height is also reduced by approximately 3 inches on the Escort and ZX-2 for an improved sports car feel.
