TWM's Eclipse GT short shifter for the 6 cyl. 6 speed model reduces shift throw by 25%,
resulting in an incredible improvement in shift feel over the stock shifter. Shift faster and smoother than ever with our full short shifter kit.
The Eclipse GT short throw shifter retains the reverse lock, and we have designed a replacement short shifter shaft and all the necessary special tools to make
the installation as simple as possible. Our Eclipse GT short shifter is also compatible with the stock shift knob.
TWM's Eclipse GT short shifter is also available with optional shifter base bushings to provide a more solid contact
point between the shift assembly and lower mounting point to remove unwanted flex from the shift assembly. These bushings retail for
$24.95 plus shipping when purchased alone, however they can be added for only $19.95 when purchased together with the short shifter.
Be sure to add TWM's new weighted stainless steel reverse lock compatible shift knob to the Eclipse GT short shifter for the ultimate shift feel. Designed
specifically to accomodate the Eclipse GT's reverse lock, this weighted shift knob results in an incredibly smooth shift throw.
